With some of the most densely packed shopping, entertainment and nightlife districts in the USA, it’s no wonder they named it twice.

On arrival to Philadelphia, you’ll have the chance to snap a selfie on the iconic ‘Rocky steps’, from the award-winning movie. Discover the Liberty Bell, impressive murals and devour an authentic Philly cheesesteak at Reading Terminal Market. Next up is America’s capital city, Washington DC. Enjoy an included tour of its monuments, before exploring the museums and National Mall for yourself.

Today you’ll take a drive south to the port city of Wilmington, North Carolina. In truth, nothing will prepare you for the true spectacle and size of the Grand Canyon – and your big reveal will leave you open-mouthed with awe. You’ll have the chance to explore the trails, either hiking into the canyon itself for a whole new perspective, or taking a stroll along the rim where you might just discover some grazing deer. For a once in a lifetime experience, how about a helicopter ride? However you choose to experience it, visiting the Grand Canyon is surely something you’ll remember forever.

Leaving the dusty roads of canylonland behind, you’ll find yourself thrown into the bright lights and truly unique atmosphere of ‘Sin City’. Although your tour comes to an end here, we definitely recommend adding extra nights to get to grips with Vegas. Take a limo tour, befriend an Elvis impersonator, fill your face at an all-you-can-eat-buffet, bungee jump from the Stratosphere…whatever you fancy, you’ll find it in Vegas…

This tour ends at approximately 17:00. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00.

AIRPORT TRANSFER INFORMATION

Transfer from Newark Airport:
Approximately 18 miles. A taxi will cost approximately US$60.00-$65.00 including tolls and tips. The alternative is to catch the train or Super Shuttle to NY Penn Station (shuttle approximately US$25.00, the train around US$12.50). From here it is a four minute walk to 34th St Penn Station where you catch a further train to 50th Street. From there it’s .4 miles to the hotel.

 

Transfer from JFK:
Approximately 13 miles. An ‘official’ taxi from the airport has a flat rate of US$45.00 plus toll (approx. US$4.00) and tip. Alternatively, take the monorail to Jamaica Station where transfer is available to the NY Subway system (the C and E Subways are two blocks away from the hotel on Eighth Avenue) or catch a “Super Shuttle” to New York Penn Station which is located in Midtown at 31st and 7th Streets (costs approximately US$25 including tip). Then take a four minute walk to take a train from 34th St Penn Station to the 50th Street Station. From there it’s .4 miles to the hotel.

 

Transfer from LaGuardia Airport:
LA Guardia – 11 miles. A taxi will cost between US$30.00-$40.00 including tolls and tips. For public transportation, from the Baggage Claim Area of LaGuardia Airport, catch a “Super Shuttle” to New York Penn Station which is located in Midtown at 31st and 7th Streets (costs approximately US$20 including tip). Then take a four minute walk to take a train from 34th St Penn Station to the 50th Street. From there it’s .4 miles to the hotel.
