You have the day to explore The Big Apple on your own before checking into the hostel and meeting your group during the orientation at 7:00 pm.  After your lovely Group Leader has told you all about the next couple days, you can go out into the night with the rest of your group and see the bright lights of the big city up close.

Having spoken with your Group Leader on the best things to do in New York, let loose on the city with your Hop On/Hop Off bus pass to see the sights. Get off at Central Park and enjoy the summer sunshine with a snow cone, frolic through Fifth Avenue’s department stores and take the time to traverse Times Square. New York is famous for its food so grab a bagel and find a good spot to people-watch as the city passes you by.
