But beyond the biggest and brightest, there are plenty more cities in the Americas that have a whole world of awesomeness to offer. Here's a run down of some of the lesser talked about places that the Trek team love to visit!

10. Seattle, Washington

If you're anything like us here at Trek Towers and you can't get through the day without copious amounts of coffee, then Seattle could be the city for you. Seattle is actually the birth place of that little coffee shop we call Starbucks. Most people looking for a great - and most importantly, cheap - night out, head over to Capitol Hill; the hip and urban side of town.

9. Vancouver

Before you head off into the Canadian Rockies with your backpack, walking boots and thirst for adventure, take some time to explore Vancouver. If you're a sushi lover, get your chopsticks at the ready - Vancouver has some of the best sushi restaurants! Then work it off with a cycle around Stanley Park or hike up to Grouse Mountain, one of the most hiked mountains in the world.
