Before all the formalities and your first dinner as a group, make sure you go and explore the vibrant city streets of one of the world's most iconic cities. Grab a coffee over on the cool side of the bridge, Brooklyn; or simply marvel at all the lights and billboards in Times Square. With some of the most densely packed shopping, entertainment and nightlife districts in the USA, it's the city that just keeps on giving. There's a reason New York City is loved the world over and you're about to find out, so don't waste a second.

In between the bright lights of NYC to the north and the grandeur of the capital to the south is Philadelphia; but don't underestimate this often-overlooked city, it definitely punches above its weight. Speaking of which, you may recognise Philadelphia from one of the most iconic movie moments in the award-winning movie Rocky. See the Liberty Bell and pay a visit to the Reading Terminal Market where you'll find heaps of stalls serving up some of the best grub in town. Tuck into a Philly cheesesteak for the ultimate mouth-wateringly good foodie experience! Your next East Coast pit stop is in America's capital, Washington DC. There's no better way to discover a city than with the help of a local expert, so we include a locally guided tour of the city monuments so you can get your head around the city's history. See the epic buildings of the Smithsonian Museums and the one and only White House.

Although you’ll say goodbye to your tour this evening, you’ll also be saying a big HELLO to the one and only New Orleans. Truly representative of the Deep South spirit, the ‘Big Easy’ is all about living the good life. We’re talking lip-smacking gumbo and jambalaya, the best jazz music in the world and striking architecture from a melting pot of influences. We recommend booking an extra night or two in the city, to stay and enjoy live music on Frenchmen Street or the hedonistic excitement of the infamous Bourbon Street.

This tour ends at approximately 17:00. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00.
