Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain night stops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

Day: 1-2 New York Area & Washington DC

We head out of the New York area into Washington DC, the perfect introduction to the social, cultural and political history of the United States. Explore the best of America's Capitol - from the Smithsonian to DC's illuminated monuments. During the day the city is awash with greenery so once you're done with sightseeing, go people watching in the parks. Why not take advantage of the great nightlife in Georgetown!

Day: 3 Appalachian Mountains

From the Shenandoah to the lush, natural beauty of the Appalachians - this super-sized, 1500 mile mountain chain is awesome for camping and superb for stretching the legs. Also home to the American black bear and former haunt of the Cherokee Indians!

Day: 4-5 Tennessee & Mississippi

Welcome to the Deep South. Time for some excitement! Choose to don a lifejacket, grip a paddle and bounce along a churning stretch of white water, for pure adrenalin. Then head through Mississippi and tune in to local radio stations for a foot-tapping southern soundtrack of rhythm and blues!

Day: 6-7 New Orleans

Now we're talking all that jazz! We head into the enchanting French Quarter of New Orleans! Hear the real deal at Preservation Hall, echoing with chirpy trumpet and smooth sax or sample a Hurricane at Pat O'Brien's! New Orleans has more than just food, drink and music to offer. Do the Huckleberry Finn thing as you chug along the Mississippi River. Then look for gators on the included Louisiana swamp tour through the mysterious bayous of Cajun country.

Day: 8-9 Panama City Beach

Then on to the Gulf of Mexico's 'Southern Riviera' - Panama City. Dream of lazy beach days or jet ski the afternoon away. Pack dancing shoes with your flip-flops as the party spirit simmers into the small hours at the famous beachfront clubs of the Gulf Coast. Tomorrow may be the perfect day to recover on the beach and soak up the sun.

Day: 10 Florida Coast

We head further along the Florida Coast keeping our eyes peeled for that perfect beach stop. Another day in paradise to work on your tan in the Sunshine State, or try snorkelling or tubing in of Florida's many crystal clear natural springs.

Day: 11-13 Orlando

Forget your age, Disneyworld is included and it makes a big kid of one and all. With three nights here, fitting in extra thrills and spills is a piece of cake. Slip-slide around Wet 'n' Wild, be drenched by killer whales at SeaWorld or cross the final frontier at Kennedy Space Center. Who wants to grow up anyhow?

Day: 14 Miami

Magnificent Miami beckons with miles of white beaches and palm trees swaying in the breeze. Seek out SoBe (aka South Beach) to stroll the art deco seafront or pose with the beautiful people on sugary sand and in ultra-cool nightspots as you celebrate a fantastic trip.

This tour ends at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
