Six awesome places to camp in North America

  • Camping by the Grand Canyon

For those new to camping, or who've only experienced it in the rainy British countryside, in their back garden or at music festivals, it might not seem like a trip highlight. But trust us - there are some incredible camp spots in America and Canada, and we've made it our mission to take you guys to the best of the best.

Combine these wonderful sites with the bonding experience setting up tents, cooking dinner and having fun and games around the campfire. And as you watch the sun go down on beautiful views, wake up to fresh air and the sounds of water, relax in pools and hot tubs, you might just understand why the camping experience makes up a huge part of our Original tours.

Our camp grounds are hand picked by our tour leaders - which means no two tours will be the same! However, there are some top camping spots that our leaders will take groups to over and over again - simply because...well...take a look for yourselves!

Camping in Monument Valley

Both sunrise and sunset across the towering rock formations of Monument Valley are amazing sights to witness - and one of our ultimate camping spots lets you see both from an incredible vantage point inside the park.
